Geared toward teachers, community leaders, dedicated Model UNers, and students of international affairs, the Model United Nations app gives you the step-by-step tools to engage with the vital work of the UN, all within a 60-minute activity. The app, produced in partnership with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Organization Affairs, uses real-life examples to explore today’s most pressing issues, like climate change and poverty eradication.ModelUN-large

The best part? You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the UN or Model UN. The lesson plans are designed to a make anyone a diplomat, whether you’ve been involved with Model UN for years or are learning about the UN for the first time. And these short lesson plans teach more than UN issues — they also instill key leadership, problem-solving, and public speaking skills.
