Cassie Hodges

Author Picture Cassie Ann Hodges currently serves as a Communications Officer at the United Nations Foundation, working with the UNA-USA. Cassie Ann develops and implements UNA-USA’s strategic communications plan to support the association’s membership, chapter programs, and the Foundation's advocacy objectives. She focuses on brand development, media relations, member communications, marketing and events, and digital outreach. Previously, Cassie Ann served as Senior Manager, Strategy and Communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses, as well as managed the U.S. Chamber’s platform. Prior to the Chamber, she served in Marketing and Communications at EMPEA (Emerging Markets Private Equity Association), supporting the organization’s connectivity with its global membership community, investor network and ecosystem of financial and emerging markets stakeholders. Cassie Ann also served as VP of Management for American University’s Graduate Leadership Council, worked in international student recruiting for the School of Professional and Extended Studies, and served as a Public Policy Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives and for Free the Slaves, a human rights NGO focused on international human trafficking policy. Cassie Ann graduated from the University of Georgia Honors College with Bachelors in both International Affairs and Spanish. While as an undergraduate student, Cassie studied International Relations and Politics at the University of Oxford. She also studied at the Real Academia de Historia y Arte de San Quirce in Segovia, Spain. She completed her M.A. in International Communication with specializations in Strategic Communications and Intercultural Leadership at the School of International Service (SIS) at American University. Through these experiences, Cassie Ann has traveled extensively through Europe for cross-cultural communication training and international community development.
